I just listened to the album on MySpace.
I wasn’t ready. Dear God, I wasn’t ready.
I feel unclean.
I haven’t been this disappointed since 2002 when I stayed awake until 2:00 AM expecting to see Guns n’ Roses at the VMA’s, only to discover it was only a cover band with some fat guy singing that looked a little like Axl Rose.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go find a copy of GnR’s – the REAL GnR’s – cover of Charlie Manson’s “Look at Your Game, Girl.”
Well, I have my double-vinyl preordered and I’m looking forward to picking it up at Best Buy.
It would definitely would have been a good Axl solo record. But because it has the GNR label most everyone was expecting well, Gn’R.
The first VR record sounded more like Guns than the new Guns record does.
It still does have some good songs on it. Not a good Guns record though.
