Memo from Christ: Keep ME out of it

I live/work on Long Island, and when I got to work this morning one of my co-workers told me she was at 6:00 AM and what are great experience she had. The lines were short, people were polite, and it was an overall pleasant shopping experience. Then there’s stories like this one.

A worker died after being trampled and a woman miscarried when hundreds of shoppers smashed through the doors of a Long Island Wal-Mart Friday morning, witnesses said.

All for a great deal on a new television or “Guitar Hero.”

You hear people say to keep Christ in Christmas. Sometimes I think He’d prefer it if we kept Him out of it.

UPDATE: The cops are  hoping to make arrests.
