David Gregory Sucks
I kid, I kid. 
Anyhow, the buzz on the Internet is that David Gregory will be the new host of NBC’s “Meet the Press.” Tom Brokaw has been filling in since the passing of Tim Russert last June. Reports have Brokaw’s finishing up on Sunday with Gregory taking over the week after…I guess.
I actually really like David Gregory, and had felt that his 6:00 show on MSNBC was his audition for MTP. He’s always come across as a fair reporter and interviewer, and is just as tough on people from the left as he is from the right (which is a rarity…especially considering where he works). His style is similar to Tim Russert’s, where no matter who he’s interviewing…he takes the opposite position.
Plus, he’s seems to have a good sense of humor from his appearances on “Morning Joe” and “Imus in the Morning,” and if he brought some of that to the roundtable part of the show…that wouldn’t suck.
