Enough Sarah Palin already

Just yesterday, I read yet another article aboot Sarah Palin’s future and/or not future in the Republican Party and politics. The same “Republican strategists” that are interviewed in all of these articles were interviewed once again, saying the same things they said in the article before. Then this morning, I heard a commercial on the news:

Sarah Palin is back on [Douchebag X's] political radar. Find out what he thinks about her back on the campaign trail.

I think it’s time to give Palinmania a rest.

I mean, it’s not like she’s been doing anything out of the ordinary. The “campaign trail” in question was for Saxby Chambliss (recapped here, video here), which when you consider the importance of the run-off election, campaigning for him isn’t all that surprising. Other than that, she’s been at the Republican GOVERNOR’S Association and the National GOVERNOR’S Association. She’s a Governor; hence her going to two GOVERNORS meetings.

But the media being what it is, if she sneezes someone takes a poll on it. She’s becoming to MSNBC what Brittney Spears is to the National Enquirer…though the National Enquirer has slightly better journalistic standards lately (see “Turkey Execution, MSNBC’s Coverage of).

However there are no more Governors’ meetings anytime soon and I don’t see any need for her to go help Norm Coleman in Minnesota.  This isn’t a dis on Sarah Palin; I’m actually a big fan. But let’s try obsessing over someone else for a little while, see how it feels.  Jindal?  T-Paw?  I hear good things aboot this Mitch Daniels guy.

Do you think we can give her a rest for a while? Maybe at least until CPAC?

UPDATE: And I was waiting for Karl Rove’s opinion too…

UPDATE DEUX: To quote Joey Styles, “CATFIGHT!  CATFIGHT!  CATFIGHT!

UPDATE TRES: Did i say enough with Palin already?
