Obama’s Other Woman
With the Big 3 Automakers back on Capitol Hill with their hat in hand, it reminded me how this whole auto bailout brouhaha started with Nancy Pelosi. And I got to thinking, am I the only one who found it odd she called a pick public sit down with the automakers and the UAW the DAY AFTER election day.
BAM barely had time to realize that he was elected president before Pelosi had the big publicity stunt, which begat the automakers on Capitol Hill, which begat the news of the Big 3 taking separate private jets to the hearing, which begat the bad press surrounding that news, which begat Pelosi suddenly wanting the automakers to come up with a plan before they got their check. Which was odd considering that a) we’ve never asked anyone else to show us a plan, and b) shouldn’t she have told them to bring a plan with them when they first met?
The last two Democrat presidencies (Carter and Clinton) got off on the wrong foot when the Democrat Congress decided that they were going to be the ones calling the shots. Everything P.E. BAM has done up until this moment says that he ain’t having any of that.
But also, while everyone is expecting drama between him and Hillary Clinton, I’m thinking the drama might be coming from Ms. Pelosi instead.
Oh God, her face! I can’t even read the whole thing with that picture up there. OK, I’ll read it, but Nancy Pelosi is on my bottom feader list. And yes, I agree: she is going to be hell for The One as she tries to push through her own agenda. The honeymoon is clearly nearing an end.
