2010 Watch: Vince McMahon for U.S. Senate

Apparently Sen. Chris Dodd, who is up for re-election in 2010, finds himself in a little bit of trouble. Between sweetheart mortgage deals and him being asleep at the switch while the banks crumble (he is, after all, chairman of the Senate Banking Committee and has been a member of it since the late 80′s), Quinnipiac finds him with the lowest poll numbers he’s had in fifteen years.

51 percent of Connecticut voters said they “probably won’t” or “definitely won’t” vote to reelect him in 2010. Dodd is vulnerable.

Sadly, much like in Illinois, there aren’t many Republicans left in Connecticut to exploit this.  But there is one who comes to mind. This man is a visionary. In these troubled economic times, this man is a successful business man who knows a thing or two aboot turning businesses around. This man is not afraid to trade punches with anyone who gets in his way.

JBdotC is proud to endorse as the next Senator of the great state of Connecticut…VINCENT KENNEDY MCMAHON, JR.!

P.S. Obviously I’m being sarcastic here, but seriously, how awesome would Senator McMahon be?

  1. Not very awesome at all, actually. If he handles the Senate seat like the WWE’s booking has been going the past several years, Connecticut is fucked.
