[VIDEO]: Would ObamaCare Kill Medical Innovation?

Back in June, a few of my (mmm mmm mmm) young Republican colleagues took a day trip up to Albany, and when we weren’t reminiscing aboot drunken escapades and mistakes we knew we were making, talk turned to politics and specifically health care reform. One of my friends was bothered that no one was talking aboot how the Democrat plans was going to destroy medical innovation. This was back in June. They still aren’t.

You hear a lot of talk aboot how insurance companies are evil and the medical industry is evil. Liberals have invested a lot of time manipulating and brainwashing people into thinking that anyone who makes more money than you is evil and corrupt, and you can’t possibly survive on your own without their help. If you disagree with them or offer a different viewpoint? You’ve been bought off by the insurance industry and/or have been brainwashed yourself by conservative media.

But what aboot the libertarian media like Reason Magazine? Yes, the same Reason that endorsed President Hopeandchange for being what they viewed as the lesser of two evils. I wonder if they’ve been bought off by place special interest group here…

Country Muzik Tuesday: Sweet Savannagh

Paul Ryan to Dems: “So, about those jobs….”

Mike Barnicle likes to say that the American people are concerned aboot three issues and three issues only, “jobs, jobs, and jobs.” If memory serves, since February seems like a decade ago, we needed to pass the President’s “economic recovery” act (aka, the crap sandwich known as stimulus) otherwise unemployment would go past 8% and millions of people would lose their jobs. The bill passed. Unemployment is now at 10.2%.

Nancy Pelosi said the “Cap and Trade” bill was about jobs, jobs, jobs and all of these “green” jobs it was going to create. The detail she left out was these jobs were going to be to replace the other energy sector jobs this legislation was going destroy (which it even says so in the bill). There also a part that said you could sue if you think global warming has affected your life, but that’s not the issue here.

If you listen to the media, you’d hear them say Republicans have no solutions…which is funny because if the media wasn’t so busy demanding everyone with a R-State after there name denounce Glen Beck (who I think is an assclown), they might get around to asking them aboot their solutions. Take it away Rep. Paul Ryan…

Romney to America: Hey, We Tried to Warn You

During the campaign, you were never allowed to question Barack Obama’s lack of experience. You were allowed to question Sarah Palin’s lack of experience, not to mention her uterus and which kids were actually hers. But Obama? The Chosen One? Anytime you questioned the fact that he really didn’t have much experience at doing much of anything you were attacked by his surrogates of fearing change and best and being a racist at worse…and that was just buy the serious journalists at NBC News.

Now that he’s a president and that lack of experience is starting to show, while the media tries to distract you by reporting on Glen Beck, unemployment is over 10% (it wasn’t supposed to hit 8% if we passed the crap sandwich known as the stimulus bill), no one knows what his plan is for Afghanistan (including him apparently), and even Saturday Night Live is scoring points by satirizing the fact that, for all the rhetoric, he hasn’t really done much.

Enter Mitt Romney for another one of his brief cameos…
