Charlie Crist on ObamaCare: “What’s ObamaCare?”

I’m admittedly, even though I can’t vote in Florida, totally in the tank for Marco Rubio. And since it’s my blog, I don’t have to be fair and balanced if I don’t want to. But last week perfectly illustrated why I think Rubio is our future and Charlie Crist doesn’t believe in anything but winning.

The Crist campaign has recently started ratching up it’s criticism of Marco Rubio, most recently over leaked information from the Florida GOP (which is guy Jim Greer was the head of, until I believe he either resigned our was ousted) that Marco Rubio, as Speaker of the House, used GOP money on personal expenses…

Mr. Crist is ratcheting up criticism of his rival. He told reporters last week it was “pretty disturbing” that Mr. Rubio billed a $130 haircut to the Republican party—one example of thousands of dollars in personal expenses Mr. Rubio charged to the party’s American Express credit card in the past two years, according to documents leaked to media. Mr. Rubio said he reimbursed the Republican party for all personal expenses and accused Mr. Crist’s campaign of leaking the data in an “appalling act of political desperation.”

Yes, that looks bad and Marco Rubio has some explaining to do during the upcoming debates on “Fox News Sunday” and “Meet the Press.” But do you know what’s worse? Charlie Crist on ObamaCare

“I don’t think a whole lot. Watching the discussion yesterday (Thursday) you get a chance to sort of see more of it be ferreted out. You know, I’m the kind of guy … I’m pragmatic. The stimulus is a great example. We needed the money. Every other Republican governor took it, too. I was just maybe a little more honest and straight forward about it. Well, shame on me for being honest. But, you know, as it relates to health care, if there are good ideas, I’m willing to look at them. And I would take that same approach to any issue in Washington.”

Asked again if there were any parts he liked he said:

“Not at present. No.”

Not one good idea?

“There may be. There may be. You know, I’m pretty focused on Florida right now. I mean, after the session I’ll be more focused on the issues in Washington. But I’ve got to do my first job first.”

So in the biggest issue that’s dominating the country right now, and an issue that the Republican Party is unified against, Charlie Crist is too busy running for Senator being the bestist Governor he hasn’t had the time to pay close enough attention to where he can name a single thing he likes aboot ObamaCare, or dislikes for that matter. Individual mandates? The fact that in doesn’t control costs? The fact that it does nothing to reform Tort or increase actual competition?

But yeah, that hundred dollar haircut is a game changer.
