Random Thoughts: New York Class Warfare

I had mentioned in a previous post my dislike of the “class warfare” our party goes through at times, putting the “champagne crowd” vs. the “beer crowd.” When I decide who I vote for, it’s going to be the candidate who is heavy on policy and not on catch phrases.

So I found this quote from NY Senate candidate Bruce Blakeman amusing, “They don’t want somebody sitting in an ivory tower and telling them what to do from the 20,000-foot altitude. They want somebody who came up through the grassroots level like I came up who understands and relates to them.”

I would also argue that going on your third decade of politics and being anointed by Al D’Amato doesn’t quite qualify as coming up through the grassroots.

THE RIGHT HOOK

Thanks for stopping by, though I currently have this blog on hold while I focus more on building one for THE RIGHT HOOK, the sodom and gammorah of conservative podcasts and your anthem for the underground where the RINOs and the Radicals come together as one!
