People Who Live in Ivory Towers Should Not Throw Stones

In a recent interview with Newsday (which I won’t link to, since they charge people), NY Senate candidate Bruce Blakeman called David Malpass, a rival for the Republican nomination, an “opportunist” from an “ivory tower” who’s “out of touch with the grass roots.”

The picture you’re looking at is Trump Palace, the Upper East Side apartment building where Bruce Blakeman lives.

Now, I’m no fancy Manhattan lawyer. I’m just some schlub from blue collar Long Island. But I gotta be honest with you…that sure does look like an ivory tower to me.
