If Sarah Palin Runs for President…We Riot

In Fox Business Network interview, ex-Alaska Guv plays coy on whether she’s still mulling a presidential bid. Palin: “It’s not too late for folks to jump in. Who knows what will happen in the future.”

No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! A Very Social Media Christmas

This video is amazing…

What’s it Gonna Be Jeb Bush, YES or NO?

I like Jeb Bush a lot and would love the opportunity to vote for him for President, but I’m not going to do this again.

First you have the mysterious poll in New Hampshire asking people what they would think of him as a candidate. Then the pundit class chimed in. Now, he has an out of the blue editorial in the Wall Street Journal defending capitalism while bashing Washington and mentioning his record as a governor. If history is any indication, he’ll probably have a major policy address coming up.

I see what’s going in here. 70% of the Republican electorate still hasn’t settled on a candidate to the point where people are talking aboot a brokered convention. Jeb Bush is one of the name’s that keep getting tossed around, no matter how many times he says no…yet here he is increasing his national profile for no apparent reason whatsoever.

Yes or no, Governor. Yes or no.

Top 5 Songs of 2011: #4. “The Lazy Song” by Bruno Mars

This was a fun little song that makes the list less because of the song as much as it does for my friend Travis who introduced me to it, and who had a subtle effect on me this year that I’m hoping to build on in 2012.

Travis decided to go back to school this year for radio broadcasting, and not to put him on blast or anything, let’s just say he and I are both “outside the margin of error” when it comes to the average age of your average student.  Yet he wanted a career change to something he loved, and after busting his ass is now interning on one of the top talk radio shows in Denver. I don’t know how or to do what, but I plan on using his courage and motivation to change to help motivate me to make necessary changes I need to in my life. Thanks bro!

Here’s the video…

Why the Newt Gingrich/Barack Obama Debates Matter

I have to admit, I’m a little taken aback by the animosity being thrown towards Newt Gingrich from the right. No candidate is perfect and I’ll be the first to admit there are parts of his record I was surprised by, but he is still the guy who led the 1994 revolution that brought us tax cuts, welfare reform, a surplus, and actually reducing the role of government.

Yet while some on the right appear to be actively trying to destroy him, he still draws huge crowds on the campaign trail of people hanging on his every word. I saw it first hand in Staten Island, and I’ve heard from people in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina that have said the same thing. His sudden reemergence can be tied to one thing. It’s not aboot being Not-Romney. It’s aboot how badly people are looking for someone to take the fight to Obama, and how Newt appears to be the only one willing if not also the only one capable.
