If Sarah Palin Runs for President…We Riot

In Fox Business Network interview, ex-Alaska Guv plays coy on whether she’s still mulling a presidential bid. Palin: “It’s not too late for folks to jump in. Who knows what will happen in the future.”

No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No!

Sarah Palin’s “Roadmap for America’s Future”

I’m a Sarah Palin agnostic. I don’t dislike her as much as I dislike the fact that everyone thinks they need to have an opinion on her. I dislike having to defend her from the liberal media whenever they go on the attack over petty bullshit (particular involving her family) and blame anything that happened in 2008 on the mind-numbing incompetence of the McCain campaign. I also dislike having some of the zealots who follow her go on the attack every time anyone makes the slightest criticism of her.

I also reserve the right to disavow knowledge of anyone who seriously tries to compare her to Ronald Reagan. A) it’s not funny. B) Reagan is the Republican Highlander: There Can Only Be One.

If she chooses to run, she’s no where near my first choice as a candidate. It isn’t because she’s a woman or not part of the establishment, I just never considered her to be serious. Fine, she knows the catchphrases and the ten word version of conservative dogma, but outside of Fox News and the assignments she posts on Facebook…has anyone challenger her on any of it?

Here’s the rub. The preceding paragraph? All before last Friday when she penned a Wall Street Journal editorial endorsing Paul Ryan’s “Roadmap for America’s Future.” So sayeth Mrs. Palin…

Sarah Palin has a Nice Rack

To the reader who wasn’t happy I compared Sarah Palin to Tim Tebow and that I had to bash her just to “establish my credentials,” this one’s for you Slapnuts. And no, it’s not actually aboot her “rack.” It’s aboot how she won Super-ish Tuesday.

Republicans in various states all nominated female candidates this past week to run for Governor and the Senate, which isn’t surprising for those of us who pay attention because after Sarah Palin was named as John McCain’s running mate, more and more women have been getting more vocal and more involved in both the Republican Party and the conservative movement. Mrs. Palin, to her credit, is more than happy to shine the spotlight on these candidates.

She also seems to have a golden touch because, just looking at last Tuesday, candidates she endorsed in both Nevada and South Carolina went from last place to winning the nomination, and in the case of Nikki Haley in South Carolina, with almost 50% of the vote.

While her endorsing conservative candidates isn’t all that surprising, it was her endorsement of Carly Fiorina that stood out, if not for it’s pragmatism for her showing that she can in fact think for her own and doesn’t just blindly follow the tea party.

It also helped Fiorina immencely…

Sarah Palin and Why Democrats Hate Women

“You don’t want to mess with moms who are rising up. If you thought pit bulls were tough, you don’t want to mess with mama grizzlies.” - Sarah Palin

The Republican Party hates women…is what the Democrats and their followers in the media keep telling us. Because we tend to be on different sides on the issue of abortion and Democrats think women are all single issue voters who share the same brain and can’t survive on their own without the Democrats help…Republicans are the ones who “hate” women. This may or may not be why they are so intent on destroying Sarah Palin.

Yes, the same Sarah Palin who was ill served by the mind numbing incompetence of the McCain Campaign in 2008 and the same Sarah Palin who is such a useless idiot and a moron and a big dummy…that the media can’t stop giving her tons of media attention for everything she does. That Sarah Palin. You betcha.

The same Sarah Palin who believes the Republican Party hates women so much…that she’s amassing an army of future Republican leaders, all of which are of the female persuasion. Don’t believe me? Just ask the extreme right-wing Palin apologists from…The Daily Beast? Hmmm…

Sarah Palin Will NEVER Run for President

It’s funny that after a two month hiatus from blogging, Sarah Palin is still the top thing to talk aboot. This weeks faux controversy? She gave a speech to the Tea Party Nation where she…wrote notes on her hand.

Now, set aside the fact that she did that is another example of why she’s not ready for prime time…AND set aside the fact that a Fox News contributor writing notes on her hand before giving a speech in front of a big audience isn’t as bad as the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES needing the teleprompters to speak before a 6th grade class room…here’s my question. Why are we even still talking aboot her?

I mean, I know why the liberal propagandists at places like NBC News and HuffPo are. She’s a distraction from actual issues and the fact that even though the Democrats own the White House, the House, the Senate, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Newsweek, and the Associated Press (nine reporters to fact check Palin’s book vs. only two to fact check ObamaCare), they don’t seem to be able to get much done. But it’s my fellow Republicans and eCons I don’t get. I know the instinct to defend our own against a media onslaught, especially in the case of Sarah Palin where it wasn’t enough to go after her they had to go after her family also. But let’s be honest with ourselves here…

Sarah Palin: The Gloria Steinem of the New Millenium

I’m what you call a Sarah Palin agnostic.

I like her personally, and defended her through out the election from liberal-media vitriol and the incompetence of the McCain campaign. I also think a lot of the current coverage is an excuse for the media to claim Republicans have no ideas because if they’re talking aboot Palin or assclowns like Glen Beck, they ignoring cats like Paul Ryan and Tom Price who have ideas.

And I agree with Pat Buchanan that Todd should hold Levi Johnson’s head underwater until the thrashing stops.

That said, I never thought she was running in 2012, and while I’ve never had anyone systematically destroy my family before, quitting as Governor – to me at least – shows she’s not ready for prime time and we should stop pretending that she is.

I am, however, fascinated by the outrage open-minded and tolerant liberal progressives have just by reading the words “Sarah Palin,” so when I saw an article called “Sarah Palin: Redefining Feminism,” I feel the need to bring it to everyone’s attention for no other reason than to piss off a lot of people. So sayeth the author…
