I mean, if we’re talking aboot “inciting violence” I could point to President Obama last summer telling his followers to “get in people’s faces,” and a week later the SEIU was at town hall meeting assaulting protesters – including one instance where they were shouting racial slurs at the guy while they were beating him down – and how some could see that as “inciting violence,” but…meh. Personally, I enjoy watching NBC News and other leftwing outfits like the Huffington Post and the New York Times get outrageous outraged, but they’ve been doing it every time a group of conservatives opposed any part of the Obama agenda and your average voter has been able to see through it anyways.

I should probably point out that I fully supported the left exercising their first amendment rights by protesting anything the Bush Administration did over the past eight years. I also supported the senate filibuster, and thought people should have read major pieces of legislation like the Patriot Act before signing it. I digress…

My indifference towards “[person who disagrees with me] is angry and violent” aside, there were things on the internets I felt necessary to bring to your attention. The first comes from Redstate.com’s Erick Erickson – and regardless what people want to say aboot conservatives blindly following Rush Limbaugh (he’s so 90′s), we actually blindly follow Erick – who recently wrote aboot some of the hypocrisy…

The Democrats and many talking heads in the media have gone so far as to say that any and all acts of violence against the government are to be blamed on Republicans. The Pentagon shooter from a few months ago turned out to be a registered Democrat and 9/11 truther who hates conservatives, George Bush, and the right in general. But the right’s “rhetoric” caused the guy to shoot up the Pentagon.

Across the board, every bad poll number for the Democrats and every word by the right has been tied together by an angry horde of the seditious, a call to violence, and a warning that when and if any violence does occur against any elected official or the government in general it is the right’s fault because of their words.

So if someone blows up a Wal-Mart tomorrow or attacks an employee for Exxon, a pharmaceutical company, or another corporation is that the left’s fault?

Open minded an tolerant liberals?

I really don’t have anything to add to the KSM/9-11 trial that folks like Rudy Giuliani, Pete King, and Andy McCarthy have express more articulately and with more effective anger than I ever could. Besides, I’m sure the last thing the internet needs is another conservative blogger criticizing the President. At least, not when it’s so much funner to point out liberals who have been criticizing him as of late.

First is Richard Cohen, who I’m a huge fan of because a) I like hearing from people who disagree with me, and b) Cohen is an actual liberal as opposed just another Obama apologist. Here’s what Mr. Cohen has to say recently aboot the assorted foreign-policy related…it’s Thanksgiving, so I’ll be generous and call them “oopsies….”

But to reread the speech is also to come face to face with an Obama of keen moral clarity. Here was a man who knew why he was running for president and knew, also precisely, what he personified. He could talk to America as a black man and a white man — having lived in both worlds. He could — and he did — explain to America what it is like to have been a black man of Wright’s age and what it is like even now to be a black man of any age.

Somehow, though, that moral clarity has dissipated. The Obama who was leading a movement of professed political purity is the very same person who as president would not meet with the Dalai Lama, lest he annoy the very sensitive Chinese. He is the same man who bowed to the emperor of Japan when, in my estimation, the president of the United States should bow to no man. He is the same president who in China played the mannequin for the Chinese government, appearing at stage-managed news conferences and events — and having his remarks sometimes censored. When I saw him in that picture alone on the Great Wall, he seemed to be thinking, “What the hell am I doing here?” If so, it was a good question.

The Barack Obama of that Philadelphia speech would not have let his attorney general, Eric Holder, announce the new policy for trying Khalid Sheik Mohammed and four other Sept. 11 defendants in criminal court, as if this were a mere departmental issue and not one of momentous policy. And the Barack Obama of the speech would have enunciated a principle of law and not an ad hoc system in which some alleged terrorists are tried in civilian courts and some before military tribunals. What is the principle in that: What works, works? Try putting that one on the Liberty Bell.

Even the Obama Apologists at the serious news organization MSNBC have been critical (as opposed to the fake news on Fox). Here’s JBdotC 2008 Political Douchebag of the Year Chris Matthews, who sounds like \his leg isn’t tingling as much as it used to…

“I worry about Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. He’s going to find himself an ACLU lawyer . . . He’s going to use that as a platform from hell where he gets to spew his point of view on the Middle East – that kind of thing he’s going to sell with the beard and everything – The New York Post is going to be reborn with this guy as the enemy. I just worry that he’s going to win this argument for months before he gets executed, if he does get executed. If that ever happens, I worry about this becoming a show for the bad guys.”

You’re doing a heckuva job there, Barry!

I had said a few days ago how “bi-partisan” is just a word the media uses to guilt Republicans into bending over and doing whatever the Democrat Party wants them to do. You know, because President Obama is the most popular guy EVAH, we should just do whatever he says even if we think it’s bad for America. If Republican’s dissent, they’re like racist or something.

Point of fact, this report from Amanda Carpenter on her most recent appearance on MSNBC…

All of the anchors are “‘wondering” if Steele is an “obstructionist” because he thinks the stimulus bill is bad policy and if the Senate will listen to him. So, it seems to me, there are dual storylines MSNBC is pushing: 1) That Steele is an “obstructionist” because he doesn’t roll over for Obama and 2) he will have his first “loss” if all the Senate Republicans don’t vote against the bill like the House GOP did.”

Chairman Steele spoke on this on Fox News Sunday, when Chris Wallace asked him if he was being an obstructionist…

Why? If I – if I think you’ve proposed something that is not in my best interests, why am I an obstructionist if I don’t agree with it? Why should I agree with something just because you proposed it? Why should I agree with it just because you have a 70 percent approval? You can still be wrong with a 70 percent approval rating.

To me, it’s all very simple. You have a bill. You debate it and argue over what ideas will make it the best it can possibly be for the American people. There’s a final bill. You read it. You consider its merits. You decide if it’s in the best interests of the American people, and you vote yes or no accordingly.

If the Democrat party honestly thinks this “stimulus” bill is what the American people need, then man up without looking for “Republican cover” and vote for it.

Regardless of what Democrat Activists like David Schuster and the editorial board from the New York Times have to say, Republicans have been clear as to why they think this bill stinks on ice, and the alternative they feel would be more beneficial to the taxpayer. President Pelosi stuck her fingers in her ears and said “I’m not listening.”

The Republicans said their piece. The Democrats said their piece. Vote, and then let the taxpayers do the same in November.

The media can take their faux bi-partisanship and shove it up their Olbermann.

NBC’s TODAY show abruptly cut Ann Coulter from its planned Tuesday broadcast, claiming the schedule was overbooked. But executives at NBC TODAY replaced Coulter with showbiz reporter Perez Hilton, who recently offered $1,000 to anyone who would throw a pie at Ann Coulter. Hilton is also launching a new book this week, RED CARPET SUICIDE.

But one network insider claims it was the book’s theme — a brutal examination of liberal bias in the new era — that got executives to dis-invite the controversialist. “We are just not interested in anyone so highly critical of President-elect Obama, right now,” a TODAY insider reveals. “It’s such a downer. It’s just not the time, and it’s not what our audience wants, either.”

Good thing they’re talking aboot The Fairness Doctrine, huh?

Now, I’m not particularly fond of Ann Coulter. Let me just put that out there right off the bat. But I find it hee-larious that these people don’t seem to realize that by doing this, all they did was guarantee that she’s going to sell 1,000,000 more books.

It has to do with something he said aboot Tim Russert:

When we went to war with Iraq, he and I had a little discussion about that and this is where he is every man. This is where Tim is Mr. or Miss America or Mrs. America. He is us as a country. I said, why-how can you believe this war is justified? And he said, “The nuclear thing. If they have a bomb that they can use, we’ve got to deal with. We can’t walk away from that.” And that to me was the essence of what was wrong with the whole case of the war.

They knew the argument that would sell with Mr. America, with the regular guy, with the true American patriot. They used the argument that would sell, that would get us into that war. Tim was right on the nail. He was us, the American people. And that to me is something that has been coming in my head the last couple of hours when Tim and I had that conversation, that that was the thing that sold America. And the guys who wanted the war used that one thing that would sell the patriot in Tim Russert.

Chris Matthews said this on June 14th of this year…the day Tim Russert died.

Yes, ON THE DAY TIM RUSSERT DIED, Chris Matthews used his death as an excuse to complain aboot the war. Matthews, in so many words, paid tribute to Tim Russert by saying the reason we got into war was because “true patriots” like Tim were too stupid to know any better.

Chris Matthews, you are in fact a douchebag.

I don’t think one of the least intellectually curious presidents we’ve had is going…is going to spend his retirement writing books or probably even reading books. However, look…

Regardless of how you feel aboot the President, I don’t really care. Just riddle me this one question: can you picture Tim Russert ever saying something like that?

Despite waking up in the Keystone State, the president-elect still manages to find a gym to get in his morning workout.
