Conservatives fought to get Marco Rubio the Republican nomination for Florida Senate. Now that he has it, mainly because his challenger Charlie Crist decided to run as a non-affiliated candidate once he realized he wasn’t going to win the primary, people are wondering if Rubio peaked too early.
While Crist has dealt with the Gulf oil spill in between changing his mind on every position he held a few months ago, Rubio’s been quiet. It’s natural to take a step back when you no longer have a challenger…save money, save resources, get ready for the big push in September. But without Charlie Crist to kick around in a primary, there’s some concern his campaign has gotten, for lack of more eloquent verbiage, blah.
Rubio’s camp ain’t hearing none of it…
While Charlie Crist is
I’m admittedly, even though I can’t vote in Florida, totally in the tank for Marco Rubio. And since it’s my blog, I don’t have to be fair and balanced if I don’t want to. But last week perfectly illustrated why I think Rubio is our future and Charlie Crist doesn’t believe in anything but winning.
Of course he isn’t, don’t be ridiculous. This is what we in the blogging hustle call a “bait and switch,” where we give you a crazy headline to grab your attention. We’re still going to talk aboot Rubio and RiNO’s, but he’s not the RiNO himself as much as he is the hunter.
Now that two teenagers with a video camera exposed ACORN for helping pimps and prostitutes evade taxes, the Democrats who supported them are running for cover. Granted, some of us are wondering where everyone was while ACORN was under investigation for voter fraud in twelve states while still receiving federal money AND a role in collecting the census data, but what the hey? And expose is and expose.
