Apparently Dear Leader is seeing it fit to interfere himself in New York politics again. First, he made personal phone calls to people to make sure none of them primaried current NY Senator Kristen Gillibrand, which makes you realize just how weak of a candidate they think she is behind the scenes. Now he’s setting his sites on our Governor David Patterson, trying to bully him out of the race straight up Chicago stylee encourage him not to run for re-election.
Why he’s choosing this Governor to throw under the bus, as opposed to other equally incompetent Democrat Governors, we don’t know. Is it because of the color of Gov. Patterson’s skin? Does President Obama have a problem with blind people? I could bring the snark here, but as the media teaches us, criticism of the President will not be tolerated.
Besides, RNC chairman Michael Steele brings the snark much better than I can…
You knew it was coming. As soon as President Obama ran into trouble, his supporters (with NBC News being the worst offenders) were going to accuse his critics of being racist. This was evident during the election last year when people were willing to call Bill Clinton a racist and comparing Hillary Clinton to David Duke, just to protect their candidate. If open minded and tolerant liberal progressives were willing to play the race card against the Clintons, the rest of us were screwed.
Democrats just can’t help themselves from playing the race card when they get in trouble. If you have a disagreement with them aboot everything ever, since they’re closed mind and intolerant of anyone who thinks different than they do, it’s one of their three standards – along with “it’s all Fox News fault” and “you’re too stupid to know any better.”
We elected Michael Steele to be the chairman of the Republican National Committee (who to be clear, I still fully support). Everyone agrees our party needs to broaden its base, while still being true to our conservative principles. We’ve let the Democrat Party define us in the eyes of voters of color (while still providing our share of self-inflicted damage). Michael Steele is the first step in correcting that.
I don’t really care aboot the dust up with
